Every Assemblies of God church adopts these 16 truths. These truths are not meant to be exhaustive of the whole of scripture, but rather they form a kind of measuring stick for the teaching and preaching ministry of the local congregation. Some of the language needs to be modernized and can be wordy at points, so many Assemblies of God churches utilize simplified or shortened versions in their handbooks or membership classes. This though is the original list of truths that must be adopted by every Assemblies of God church.
