You walk through the door and instantly the aroma of fresh roasted coffee wafting in the air reaches your senses. The girl behind the counter with a nose ring and a Celtic tattoo greets you, "What'll it be?" Without hesitation you reply, "I'll have a double-shot, half-caf, mocha cappuccino, latte." You grab a tin of mints, and hand the guy in a doo-rag working the register a twenty. He gives you a five, four ones, and some change. You pause for a minute, as if you were going to protest, "Is that right? Ten bucks for coffee and some candy?" But then you put a dollar and some change in the jar and move to the pick up line. Billy Holiday serenades you. You give a nod to the guy in the overstuffed chair who's trying desperately to look busy over his laptop. "Who's double-shot, half-caf, mocha?" You grab your cup and make for the exit.
